VOID of old Harajyuku station
We thought about the cultural property of the wooden station building which is Half Timber. In this project, I plan the void space of the old station building and the structure to extend from there in the new station building.
People will not pass through the old station building, and the scene that a large number of people come and go in Harajuku station will be lost. We plan the void of the old station building and allow many people. Create a space like a square where you can see the traffic of people from above and below.

In order to have a relative relationship with the old station building by half timber, it is an architecture that includes a structure, and created a space by the structure itself.
By this station building, the scene of the old station building was transferred to the new station building, and the old station building was designed to reciprocate the value of the building itself.
